As a couple, we have many friends from work and church - people from various backgrounds and areas of the country. We love to entertain with friends and with family at home, and make strong connections with others. Alex, an exchange student from Germany, lived with us for a school year. We loved having Alex with us, and made efforts to provide him with an enriching experience. We formed a lasting connection with him, regularly staying in touch. We went to visit him in Germany for his high school graduation and met his wonderful family. Building meaningful and lasting relationships is very important to us. Our child will have a close and supportive network of family and friends.
